“It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” . . . Mark 2:17
We believe that we are all sinners in need of God’s grace for our salvation. The most important need in our short lives is to come to know, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We will then have the desire to grow in His knowledge, connect with other believers and demonstrate our faith through service to others.
We want to help any and all who desire to learn about Jesus Christ.
We want to help as we can with non-spiritual needs as well.
The most important need we will ever have
There are many opportunities to find “The Answer” to our spiritual needs. Worship services, Sunday School classes, Small Groups, etc. all provide insight, however, often it is “a person” that leads one to Christ. The Pastors at First Presbyterians place the highest priority on helping people with this struggle. Please contact any of our Pastors to discuss this most important decision.
Physical, emotional, financial – other needs
At times many of us experience difficulties we never dreamed we would. Along with the many Ministries described on this website to help, the Deacons at First Presbyterian Church invite you to a “one-on-one” discussion of any “life situation” to provide support in any way we can. There is always a “Deacon on Call” waiting for your call.
