Women’s Ministry Vision

womens ministry council

Encouraging and equipping women to be joyfully obedient to God as worshipers, disciples, and faithful servants through Jesus Christ in our homes, church, community, and throughout the world.

The Women’s Ministry Council consists of volunteers, as are all the activities their ministries undertake, who plan and coordinate all their activities. (See contact information below.)

Purpose

The purpose of the Women’s Ministry at First Presbyterian is that every woman know Christ personally and, as His follower, worship and serve Him wherever He calls her. FPC Women is open to all women and is comprised of four areas of opportunity to participate and serve.

Bible Teaching/Small Groups

Our women’s Bible Studies offer places to connect with the Lord through study in His Word. We also have opportunities to build relationships through small groups and prayer groups. Currently, we offer a variety of studies that meet monthly, bi-monthly and weekly. Some are morning and some are evenings.  Most morning studies have child care available by reservation.

Prayer

The Vision of FPC Women is to encourage and equip our women to be joyfully obedient to our Lord as worshipers, disciples, and faithful servants through Jesus Christ in our homes, our church, our community and throughout the world.

Communications

Publication of the First Press Newsletter and other forms of communications help our church members.

Hospitality/Special Events

Welcoming new women and other forms of hospitality support our members.

Sharing Building Gathering

FPC Women seeks to bring all of our women together, whatever your current stage or walk in life. As we gather together, we share life and build community.

We offer various events and gatherings throughout the year that encourage connecting with one another as sisters in Christ:

Bible Study Luncheons     Coffee Chats     FPC Women’s Fall Kick Off

“Let’s Do Lunch” ( local restaurants)      Special Events

Serving Giving Growing

We believe that service to our church body and service to our community stretches far beyond what we can see. Opportunities to participate in the Great Commission through the tangible means of serving provide the means to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
