I need to speak to a budget coach about my family finances.
Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is more precious
than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her (Proverbs 8:10‐11). As we seek to hear and
apply God’s word to our finances, we believe God’s peace will follow, even in the darkest circumstances.
Members of First Presbyterian Church may contact the’s budget coach coordinator at

I need to find a helping hand (repairs, rides, computers, attorney, etc.).
Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them (Romans 12:6a). In this way,
the Deacons have organized into several volunteer pools, depending on a variety of needs. These
include advice or help with a bike or car repair, computer question, handyman repair, housing need, job
lead, question for an attorney, ride to the doctor, moving and packing, yardwork. Members of First
Presbyterian Church may contact the’s volunteer pool coordinator at
email@example.com and tell us about your need.
I need to get help in a crisis (homelessness, addictions, payday schemes, etc.).
If you are suffering with a severe need, God never meant for you to walk alone. The Deacons can help
you find a loving church family and local Christ‐centered resources. Take heart: The lame beggar was
completely healed when Peter told him, “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!” And
all the people … were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him” (Acts 3:6). Call
the church office at (423) 267‐1206 to schedule an appointment with the Deacon‐on‐Call.
I Want to Help Others…
